VMS [Video Management System]

• All role equipment is routed to the VMS. This

includes multiple inputs from on board cameras

such as FLIR & Wescam, i.e. live video feeds from

all the cameras in the turret (thermal, low light,

spotter, daylight colour camera, image fusion etc.).

• In addition to cameras, the video recorder/s,

Observer Mission Mapping System, microwave

uplinks/downlinks and other special mission

computers such as ANPR are routed to the VMS.

• Each display is then connected to the VMS via a

single multi-core cable. Once connected any display

can call up any signal/image at any time. Multiple

video windows can be invoked on each display and

images controlled via touch screen or hard keys.
